The Hub’s facilities

The Operator Skills Hub is fully kitted out with the latest training equipment and plant machinery.

We have a dedicated plant simulation room, housing three Tenstar simulators and compatible VR equipment. There are three large classrooms capable of seating up to 30 students, a CSCS test room, locker rooms and a canteen.

The external training area has been purpose-built to enable real life training on various machine categories and also incorporates an utility detection zone.

There is parking for 20 vehicles, with four charging points for electric vehicles.

Plant training

Dedicated training areas for machine control and excavation, loading with a telehandler, compaction with a roller, loading and reversing dumpers and Red Zone.
