OSH Skills Bootcamp 3rd Birthday

Celebrating the 3rd Birthday of the Skills Bootcamp in Plant Operations!

Three years ago today, we proudly launched the first ever Skills Bootcamp in Plant Operations in partnership with Department for Education at our flagship Skills Hub in Birmingham.

Here’s what we’ve achieved together:

– 1,879 Learners.
– 129 Cohorts.
– Championed underrepresented groups with 27% of learners being NEET, 10% identifying as female and 14% of learners having a disability.
– 2270 Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS), part of NOCN Group Categories.
– 93% Achievement rate.
– 81% Successful outcomes.
– Partnered with clients and contractors such as HS2 (High Speed Two) Ltd, Balfour Beatty VINCI,Eiffage Kier Ferrovial BAM (EKFB) and Skanska Costain STRABAG Joint Venture to deliver outcomes and opportunities for the communities they work in.
– Partnered with Buckinghamshire Council, Kirklees College and Kirklees Council.
– Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted at our first inspection as an Employer Training Provider.
– Been mentioned in the House of Commons, as an exemplar initiative several times.
– Visited by the Transport Select Committee at our Kirklees Skills Hub.
– Upskilled 28 Plant Operators to be Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS), part of NOCN Group Trainers and Testers.                                    – Expanded delivery to 7 centres across the UK – supporting the communities we work in through collaboration with our clients and their supply chains
